Over on the Goal Seattle boards, Carlos was reflecting (half-seriously) on the fact that if you knew the exact time of the goal, you could determine the position of the sun, and then look at a photo and use trigonometry to determine where the shadow would fall if the ball had, in fact crossed the line.
