It was studs up and would have been a dangerous tackle if it had connected, but Riley barely touched him. It was a dive to get a card, and it worked.

the tackle was dangerous, but it looked like a graze plus some good acting. so i don’t really know if that was a good call or not. (sounders fan)

I love Sigi, but I have to question the coaching/preparation for this. It’s like we had NO IDEA what to expect in terms of the implications of the pitch dimensions. Every time Sounders touch the ball, they are mobbed; when San Jose touches the ball, our guys sit back and twiddle their thumbs.

I’m pretty frustrated right now.
