Portland Soccer Promo FAIL

I should probably write about tomorrow’s game, but I wanted to share this first. This is a screenshot of an email I got today. I imagine that the marketing conversation must have gone something like this:

“Oh! Yes! Let’s send it to Laurie! Look how much money she’s spent on soccer tickets in the past few years! And we know how much those Seattle people LOVE soccer!!”

FAIL, people. Epically amazing FAIL.

  Whats the big deal? Im sure they just sent this out to their entire database. Not sure why its such an epic fail as you describe

  Of course that’s what they did. They bigger question is: Why the HELL would someone like me be in the Portland database? That would be where the “fail” comes in.
