I just wonder if the marketing staff wasnt already calling the team Seattle FC before the vote (or maybe “vote”). Perhaps the other two choices were purposely horrible to force the name.

As for the Kitsap thing, here is the link:

or the AOL version, both from late March (and reported on the MLS main page here) use the name Seattle FC. I find that very interesting.
