Vote: What’s the Key to Shutting Down Houston?

By: Laurie | October 27th, 2009

Email exchange between me and David Falk, the Seattle Soccer Examiner, about his new poll:

Vote: What’s the biggest key to beating Houston?

Laurie

What, no “All of the Above”? :-)

If all of the above happen, hello Chivas USA! ;)

The man has a point. (I’d love to see Sounders meet Chivas — as opposed to LA — in the Conference finals.)

On a negative note, Fredy Montero was sent home today with a “lowgrade fever.” And Kasey has a “sore ankle.” NOT good news on either account.

But Kasey is expected to play on Thursday, and Montero’s sending home was precautionary. (And to keep him from infecting everybody else.) The team will survive this.

And in the meantime, vote in David’s poll, also showing up at Seattle Soccer Examiner.

there’s only a few hours left to vote on goal of the week and Evans is right on the edge of winning/losing. Go vote!

I would rather play the Galaxy to be honest. They might have the slowest backline in the MLS. Chivas’ economy scares me more than Donavon/Beckham, especially because, as you said, Becks doesn’t give an expletive about his team or the playoffs. I would love to see Zakuani run circles around him and then steal his spice girl.

The big difference, though? If we play Chvias, we get another home game.

And the thought of Zakuani and Posh? Together? Eww. I think I need brain bleach. Plus I believe that for Steve it would fall under the constitutional definition of “cruel and unusual punishment.”
